CONSERVATION.

Pamoja Afya (Health) Initiative recognizes the linkage between wellbeing and nature conservation that results into environmental sustainability and good natural resource stewardship. Our project therefore educates and inspires youth to become environmental protectors by taking positive actions on the world around them. The program therefore engages in:-

Tree planting and waste recycling   campaigns:

The program is involved in mobilization and engagement of youth in biodiversity conservation activities.  Such as tree planting and waste recycling aimed at creation of green jobs and conservation of the environment. The project targets to plant 20 million trees around national parks and games reserves in 5 years. The  project mobilizes students in  schools  to not only  each student   plant and look after   atleast 5  trees but also mobilzes other 5 people in their households to atleast plant a tree. This promotes planting of fruit trees which help to provide food, firewood and medicine to community members.
